Founder and CEO, Clear Thinking
Paul Bristow joined the digital media industry in 1995, where he helped launch the first ever full-screen video capable home PC. Since then he’s worked for Olivetti, Philips, Osmosys and ADB in a variety of strategic roles from head of communications to CTO. He spent more than a decade defining industry standards with DVB including six years in the steering board.
He’s been involved in everything from the earliest MPEG-2 STBs to the latest cloud based UX projects.
Paul now runs a technology consultancy based in Geneva, Switzerland – handy for DVB and the EBU – as well as an entrepreneurial FabLab and is secretly working on innovation around open source hardware, the internet of things and consumer robotics.
